Theresa M. (Sullivan) Henaghen, 66, of East Bridgewater formerly of Hanson died on June 23, 2009 at her home after a bout with cancer. She was born in Cambridge, daughter of the late Edward and Sophie (Koprek) Sullivan and was raised and educated in Stoneham. After High School, Theresa attended Wyndham Jr. College in Boston. Prior to her illness Mrs. Henaghen worked for several years as a Bookkeeper for Beacon Hill Villiage Co. in Boston. Theresa was a communicant of St Joseph the Worker Church in Hanson where she was active in the Ladies Sodality, and as a Eucharistic Minister. She loved to spend time with her friends and family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her Grandchildren. Mrs Henaghen always carried herself with grace and a positive attitude, even through the challenges of her illness. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Henaghen. She is survived by her children Mark E. Henaghen of Franklin, Karen Pechulis of East Bridgewater, and Thomas M. Henaghen of ME. She was the grandmother of Colleen Henaghen, Erin Henaghen, Allie Pechulis, Zach T. Pechulis, Sean Pechulis, T.J. Henaghen, Andrew Henaghen, and Liam Henaghen. Also surviving her beloved sisters-in-law Mary O’Neill and Sally Sullivan.
A Funeral will be held from the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St ROCKLAND on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 10:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow in St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan St. in Hanson at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Fern Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday, June 25, 2009 from 5-8 PM.
