Philip W. "Buddy" Pinkham, Jr. 62 of Alexandria, N.H. formerly of Pembroke, MA died peacefully on January 20, 2012. He was born in Plymouth, son of the late Philip W. and Marjorie (Keene) Pinkham, Sr.
Buddy was a proud Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the Rockland Post 1788 of the VFW. He had been a self employed carpenter and served as a builder for many years.
He is survived by his wife Ruth (Smith) Pinkham and a son, Christopher Pinkham and his wife Cheri of Pembroke. He was the brother of Joan Sprague and her husband Mark of Rockland, June Eckerdt and her husband DeWayne of NH, Janet Harrington of WY and many nieces and nephews. He was especially close to his nephew Eric Sprague. Philip was predeceased by his brother Ronald Pinkham.
The Pinkham family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate his life on Thursday, January 26, 2012 in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND from 4:00-7:00 PM. His Funeral Service will be at the funeral home on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11:30 AM. Burial with Military Honors will be at 1:45 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Rockland VFW 22 Church ST. Rockland, MA 02370.
