Lucille W. (Grono) Mileski, 88 of Rockland passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at the Oak Hill Golden Living Center in Middleboro. She was born in Boston and lived in Squantum, and Weymouth. She resided in Rockland for many years with her husband and children.

She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Flora (Baxter) Grono. She was the wife of the late John P. Mileski of Rockland. She is survived by her son Kenneth Mileski of Dade City, Florida and his wife Patty of Rockland, her son Paul Mileski and his wife Debbie of Hudson N.H. and her daughter Janet Howe and her husband Steve of Lakeville Ma. She also leaves behind a brother, Thomas Grono and his wife Ruth of Hanover, and her sister Carrie with her husband Bob Evanson of Hudson, NH. She had 11 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She had two deceased brothers, Lincoln and Ernest Crocker and a deceased sister Ruth Geloran and Ruth's husband Anthony.

She was employed for many years at the Rockland Webbing company as a weaver. She enjoyed taking care of abandoned cats and having a cup coffee at the ponds while feeding the ducks and doing word search puzzles. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting things for her grandchildren.

The Mileski family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Monday, January 9, 2012 in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND from 4:00-7:00 PM. Her Funeral Service will be on Tuesday January 10, 2012 at 11:30 AM in the funeral home Burial will follow at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Rockland. Donations may be made in her name to: Asera Care Hospice, 40 Washington Street, Wellesey, Ma. 02481.
